ALWAYS is the quintessential love song, written for (and gifted to!) Irving Berlin's fiancée, Ellin McKay.  One of Berlin's greatest hits, it has been recorded countless times by icons including Ella Fitzgerald, Paul McCartney, Phil Collins, Bing Crosby, Billie Holiday, and Leonard Cohen.

BEST THINGS IN LIFE ARE FREE If The Best Things in Life Are Free hadn't been a beloved favorite already, its appearance in 2022's The White Lotus had audiences worldwide singing the tune. Recorded by Bing Crosby, Sam Cooke, Mel Tormé and Michael Feinstein among others, it is not only instantly recognizable but refreshingly pertinent in its message.

BLUE SKIES On opening night of the 1926 musical Betsy, audiences demanded 24 encores of Blue Skies from star Belle Baker. During the final rendition, Ms. Baker forgot her lyrics, so composer Irving Berlin sang them out from his front row seat. Famously performed by Ella Fitzgerald, Bing Crosby, Willie Nelson and Danny Kaye, Blue Skies is one of the most recognizable songs in the world.

CHARLESTON - Revel in the Roaring 20's with our rollicking rendition of the Charleston! The dance craze called The Charleston swept the world in 1923 with its captivating dance steps and syncopated rhythms. Toes in, Heels out, and DANCE!

FASCINATING RHYTHM
- This Gershwin favorite was first introduced in Lady Be Good, starring Fred and Adele Astaire.  It has been recorded and performed by greats such as Ella Fitzgerald, Tony Bennett, Tommy Dorsey, Michael Feinstein and more!

IT HAD TO BE YOU is the iconic romantic song, and also the title song to the film When Harry Met Sally. It has been recorded by Barbara Streisand, Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra and more!

THE MAN I LOVE is another Gershwin standout, from the musical Strike Up the Band. It is one of the most famous Broadway standards, recently included in the 2015 Broadway musical, An American in Paris.

PUTTIN' ON THE RITZ A hit for Fred Astaire, Ella Fitzgerald, Judy Garland and the inimitable Taco in the 1980s, Irving Berlin's Puttin' On The Ritz is the quintessential Classic American song. The title refers to London's Ritz hotel; the lyrics describe the luxurious lifestyle of the wealthy during the Roaring Twenties. Featured in numerous films, TV shows and musicals, this song is a perennial favorite!

Our
RHAPSODY IN BLUE is a stunning arrangement-suite of George Gershwin’s signature work for solo piano and jazz band. It premiered in 1924 at An Experiment in Modern Music at Aeolian Hall in New York City, with Paul Whiteman and his band backing up Gershwin himself on the piano.

SOMEONE TO WATCH OVER ME - Sung originally by Gertrude Lawrence in the hit Broadway musical Oh, Kay!, this Gershwin standard has also been recorded by Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand, Ella Fitzgerald, Willie Nelson, Elton John, Chet Baker, Sarah Vaughn, and Amy Winehouse.

S'WONDERFUL - A quintessential American Songbook hit by George and Ira Gershwin, S'Wonderful has been recorded innumerable times, as well as featured in movies such as An American in Paris, Funny Face and Eat, Pray, Love. Initially performed onstage by Adele Astaire, it has been recorded by Bing Crosby, Ella Fitzgerald, Gene Kelly, Sarah Vaughan, Brian Wilson, Shirley Bassey, Harry Connick Jr., Engelbert Humperdinck and more!

TEA for TWO from No, No, Nanette
- This uplifting song from 1924 was Vincent Youmans' biggest hit and has been recorded by Tommy Dorsey, Doris Day, Art Tatum, Bing Crosby and many more!

YES! WE HAVE NO BANANAS - This fabulous hit song by Silver & Cohn from 1923 has been re-recorded by Benny Goodman and His Orchestra, Spike Jones & His City Slickers, Kidsongs, and many more.
